EXPLORATION NOTEBOOK / MEMORY & MOVEMENT

Plan a route when you cannot see everything.

A brief echo, a remembered flight and a shrinking laser chamber all reward a careful look at the next move.

KEEP IN MIND

  • Identify what is visible and what must be remembered.
  • Read the cost of another step.
  • Confirm the active character before moving.
  • Keep the game’s own help within reach.

Use a short reveal to identify the next safe area

Lost Vision starts with the level hidden. Space briefly reveals nearby space, and the flag leads onward. In the creator’s Memorizer mode the opening reveal is limited, so look for the floor, the next jump and the direction of the flag before moving. This is a practice method, not a solved route.

Separate an outbound path from the return

Flight Back Home shows the plane’s journey before asking you to retrace it on a hex grid. The flags can remind you of the route. When practicing, divide the path into a few recognizable turns and include the final landing in the sequence. A wrong cell leads to a crash and a retry.

Count the cost of movement

Cat Goric’s chamber uses movement sensors: taking more steps brings the lasers closer. Check where you can reach with the next useful action instead of exploring by repeatedly changing direction. Keyboard and on-screen arrows are documented for the game.

Choose the active character deliberately

Yellow and Blue can be played alone by switching the active figure with 1, 2, Tab or the header indicator. The goal is to bring the characters together while avoiding Death and solving puzzles. Before moving, confirm which figure is selected and whether the other still has a route.

Learn an unusual rule in a small space

Puzzlatory describes puzzles where time and space can be inverted. Its opening tutorial names WASD and the arrow keys for movement. Observe what an inversion changes before carrying that assumption into a later room, and use the game’s own reset control when you want to inspect an arrangement again.
