Make a plan for both forms
The creator gives the living character and the ghost different abilities. Look at the same room twice: first ask which rocks or buttons need attention, then trace the coin route available after transformation. A route that works while alive can still leave the ghost dependent on an interaction it cannot perform.
Count useful preparation moves
The transformation arrives after exactly 13 steps. That turns positioning into a budget. Before taking a detour, decide whether it changes an obstacle, a button or the eventual starting position for the ghost. Undo can compare two preparations without making a restart your only learning tool.
Match troubleshooting to the actual browser
The creator reports audio problems in some browsers and graphical noise in Firefox private mode. Those are upstream notes, not newly reproduced findings here. If the room loads but sound or pixels look wrong, record the browser and privacy mode before changing unrelated settings or assuming the puzzle itself is broken.
