Keep the elemental goal visible
The official description identifies four elements and nine levels. Read the current level as its own small problem, including what must be collected and where the route begins. This avoids carrying an assumption from one planetary layout into another that introduces a different obstacle.
Separate the route from the movement attempt
The creator says the game needs both skill and thought. First work out a plausible path; then use an attempt to learn the timing or movement needed to follow it. If the attempt fails, deciding which of those two parts failed gives the retry a clearer purpose.
Choose the departure point before jumping
The reviewed input handler uses left and right while the character is attached to a planet, then Up initiates a jump away from its surface. Move to a useful departure point before jumping. Read the next landing and destination as part of the route, since a surface movement and an airborne transfer are different stages of the attempt.
