Keep the timer and task together
The official submission describes a thirteen-glitch objective under a time limit. Exploring farther is useful when it advances that task. Notice where the game reports progress and time before running past the opening area; that makes an unsuccessful attempt easier to learn from.
A breakpoint has its own input
Holding Space throws a breakpoint, according to the author’s competition instructions. Movement remains on arrows or WASD. Learn one attack while standing somewhere safe enough to see the result, then combine it with traversal once its behavior is clear.
