LESSONS, TACTICS & SHARED BOARDS

Give the next decision some room.

Learn a chess piece, inspect a dungeon threat or share an abstract board. These projects make the context of a decision worth reading before the next input.

Actual opening interface of Lichess, captured October 26, 2026. It records the entry screen, not a completed session.

A PLACE TO BEGIN / Lichess

Start with one good session.

Interactive Chess basics isolates one movement rule at a time. It gives you a smaller first task than a live match with an unfamiliar clock.

Meet Lichess ↗

Choose a solo task or a partner

Lichess basics provides individual exercises. Sokoban and the Q42 puzzles ask for deductions on a board. Radüm is local pass-and-play for two, while DCSS is a dungeon run reached through a selected server. Decide which social and attention context fits before choosing by appearance.

Check what makes time matter

A turn-based dungeon gives you room to inspect before acting. A chess game can still have a running clock, and Radüm combines alternating choices with board motion. Read the current mode instead of assuming that every board-like interface is an untimed puzzle.

Use the project’s own rules

A circle, tile or familiar piece can appear in games with very different mechanics. Use each profile’s controls, tutorial and original-source links. For DCSS, match the server version; for live chess, match the selected mode; for Radüm, use its own placement and scoring tutorial.
